Is it possible to win a scholarship for being academically gifted?

I am in year 10 in school in the UK and I was wondering is it possible to win scholarships for college or university for getting exeptional GCSE grades?
Also, is it possible to win a scholarship to go to college or university in USA?

US schools LOVE LOVE LOVE foreign students! Especially in places without a lot of diversity (like the south and midwest). Check into smaller state schools. You might not get a lot of money since you are from an affluent country, but definitely contact the “international students” office of the universities you’re interested in and ask.
