♥:Moneywise in which field could I make more money: nursing or fashion industry??

My dream is to go into fashion & work in fashion shows or retail, but I hear nursing pays good & that there will be a nurse shortage a few years from now..I want to make enough money to live a decent life w/& have money

Nursing doesn’t really pay that well considering all the work you have to do. If money is your deciding factor here, I would say fashion industry would be your best bet.

Nursing is probably a better guaranteed paycheck. I’m sure there is plenty of money in fashion, but it’ll be tough to break into and even tougher to get rich at. Nursing will be more practical and you’ll have a much easier time finding a job. You can always pursue fashion on the side as a hobby, or even a future career.

Money-wise, id say nursing. It has very good starting pay. not to mention the chances of being promoted to a higher position that could make up to 40$ an hour. However, if the fashion industry is ur aspiration, id go for that. Wouldnt you rather have a job u could enjoy making a living out of. U can still make GOOD money out of fashion, but u first need to build ur repuation and make a name 4 urself. Good Luck, do wat ur heart says!!

Do what makes you happy, but nursing is a great field. i love it.

Nursing will provide a good salary and job stability- something that most other professions lack right now.
Unless you are really good and people seek you out, I don’t see a career in fashion being profitable.
But don’t go into nursing just to have a steady income when you really want to do fashion- you’ll end up hating your life and your workplace will be unbearable for you, your patients, and your coworkers.

Fashion industry probably pays more. I’m a nurse (15 years) and I don’t make as much as people think I do.
